Friday, July 8, most families went to the Toy Market not too far from the hotel. We shared three cabs and one cab driver was obviously confused and drove two other families to a different place - a very modern shopping plaza. Like the Jade Market, the toy market was huge. We spent three plus hours there and still could not cover every store in the building. It made you feel like you were in a "GIGANTIC" Dollar Store. Ben had a blast there. Like usual, this kind of shopping is "torture" for Dad.
Anna has been eating great – part of it may be the Chinese medicine. For breakfast, she could eat a whole steamed egg, some rice congee, some watermelon pieces then drank the whole bottle of milk. At lunch, she liked table food, noodles, rice, minced meat or whatever we were eating. Dinner time, she would take a whole jar of chicken meat plus other table food. Mid mornings and mid afternoons she wanted a snack – Peach yogurt from the hotel breakfast buffet was her favorite snack. Before sleeping, she would take another bottle of milk. We were very happy she was a good eater but a little worried about the amount of food she took.
