On the Fifth of July, we had a Guang Zhou city tour. The Sun Yat-Sen Memorial Hall was closed that day so we did not get into the park. We went to the famous Temple of the Six Banyan Trees. Mom kneeled down with Anna and prayed in front of the Buddha. Then we had a Dim Sum lunch. Not everyone in our group enjoyed the real Guang Dong style dishes. We also went to the Guang Zhou Porcelain Building. That’s a shop combined with onsite china painting. The weather was really hot and humid. We tried everything to make Anna smile but still no luck. She was just so serious and kind of sad. That’s her typical expression during the first three days with our family. She did not eat much, so we brought her to the doctor in the hotel. Mom and Dad were not impressed with the doctor so we went to a pharmacy and got some Chinese medicine for her.
